Pan-Atlantic University contributes to national development through academic programs that are relevant to the needs of Nigeria. The university is open to all people regardless of their nationality, race, sex, religion or ethnic group.
This university was founded in 1991. The two undergraduate degrees offered are in business and communications. The school also has centers that teach entrepreneurial skills as well as information technology.
Pan-Atlantic University is currently developing a new campus. The first phase of development of this campus includes a School of Media and Communication (including undergraduate degree programs), a School of Management (different from the currently existing Lagos Business School) and an Institute of Humanities. Construction projected in this phase includes an academic building with classrooms, computer lab, studios and offices which will be built in two stages; two student hostels; an administration building; the first phase of the library complex; sports areas; service buildings and infrastructure.
