The Montefalco School was Begoña’s child. She died at the age of 91, yet she never missed a single meeting. Every two weeks for years she attended the board of director’s meetings. She always came on time and was always interested. She always asked questions. She made us understand the transcendence of this school. I feel she wanted to transmit to us her desire that, when she couldn’t be with us any more, we would carry on the mission of loving all the girls and the School the way she did. On my part at least, with her example, she succeeded.

I am one of the beneficiaries of the Build Your Future training program. I founded BAKE Academy (Baptiste Kouassi Enterprise), an agro-pastoral company specialized in the farming and processing of African giant snails, a highly prized species. Participating in BYF allowed me to mature my project: I went from a simple idea to a concrete initiative that I am currently working on. The program taught me better organization, effective time management, and a positive evolution of my mindset to broaden the impact of my enterprise.
